Winning gold at the WA Tourism Awards

We did it! Timothée Resort has been awarded Gold in the 4 – 4.5 Star Deluxe Accommodation category at the 2025 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards.

What a night it was, we loved the chance to spruce ourselves up, put on our finest and catch up with fellow operators in the tourism industry. We came away feeling very inspired hearing what people were getting up to across the state; from charismatic tour guides, to remote camping dining experiences, and festivals. WA certainly has a lot to offer for tourists and locals alike.

Some of The Timothee’s achievements the judges considered:
•    Renovating our 33 guest rooms and resort grounds.
•    Overhauling the guest booking/communication experience with our new “tech stack” that any IT nerd would be proud of.
•    Our marketing efforts to tell the story behind The Timothee and it’s revamp.
•    Sustainable initiatives such as solar panels, installing an EV charger, getting rid of single use plastic bathroom amenities, and choosing local where possible from coffee, to recycled plastic homewares.
•    The reviews from our awesome guests…thank you!

We are pleased to know that even a 40 year old motel can be considered one of the best accommodation options in the state!
