Sito Shades x The Timothée Resort

The scent of sunscreen by a turquoise pool, breezeblock walls with that classic mid-century modern feel. There’s something timeless about a roadside motel—a place where the clocks stop and the sun always feels a little warmer.

Last year we had the opportunity to collaborate with local eyewear brand Sito and photographer Peggy Voir to create our most retro charm photos yet. Think board games by the pool, ice cold cokes by the tennis court, a game of volleyball, add in a Kombi and its a recipe for a good time. We loved these images so much we wanted to put a real spotlight on them and thought what better way to do this than with a blog post. So here are a few for our favourites.

Ella Davie and Serena Bernhardt had such a playful, improvised chemistry. They weren’t just models, they were two women bringing both Sito and the Timothée to life. To be able to capture the essence of that ‘retro motel charm’ is a real balancing act, there is a sweet spot between nostalgic chic and cliché, Peggy Voir along with our incredible models were able to create the most perfect cinematic narrative.

Being able to showcase the Timothée with a brand we love was a real highlight moment of ours. Leaning in to all the classic motel attributes that we mindfully kept original and make these point and centre. It got us thinking, there are so many brands we think fit the Timothée vibe, should we get some of these in for collabs to see what else we can create?
